SUMMARY:Fascinations by the River - Year-Long Event
DESCRIPTION:This is our environmentally friendly and biodegradable art installation by local artist Shannah Warwick titled: “Fascinations by the River”. These pieces are installed throughout Chemung County (10 in all – example pictured above). We want to see what happens to this art as it is consumed by nature\, as well as what the public thinks our project. This exhibit will function as an art\, social\, and environmental experiment. Please remember to treat the art\, and our rivers and riverside banks well. We love our mother nature! \nGet out and PLAY while finding as many of the “Fascinations by the River” pieces as you can\, and sharing the photos to social media with the hashtag: #fascinationsbytheriver! Thanks to Shannah Warwick\, our artist and environmentalist at Blckbts for making this project a reality! \nFor more information on this year-long exhibition\, and for clues to find each piece and photograph it\, check out our webpage on the project. \nThis project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program\, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.
